The Economics of Self-Improvement

"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, I used everything you gave me". Erma Bombeck

“There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond, and to know one's self” - Benjamin Franklin. The purpose of this blog is to create a hub for those who aren't satisfied with just being ordinary. In today’s world, it's not unusual for challenges to knock us off course and derail us from dreams of becoming the best we could. It’s our duty to keep the dream alive and inspire others in a capacity proportional to our potential. There’s always the option of giving up and following a mediocre path. Indeed, the fear of failure, tough circumstances and bad breaks often make us question the legitimacy of our quest. However, giving into this temptation prompts us to abandon our destinies by the wayside and live in eternal nostalgia for the road not taken. I’m on a life-long quest of learning the strategies of successful greats – the Mahatma Gandhi’s, Martin Luther King Jr.’s, Abraham Lincoln’s, Steve Jobs’, Eleanor Roosevelt’s, and many, many more… I welcome your comments, questions or suggestions on any topic… and of course, don’t forget to drop your favorite quotes… It would be my pleasure to publish them…
